During the prototyping and sampling phase, we manufacture initial components for technical evaluation. We examine the geometry, material behaviour and functionality, and carefully adjust and document the process parameters.

Plastic injection moulding is an industrial process used to manufacture plastic parts to a consistent standard and in large quantities. In this process, plastic granules are first heated in an injection moulding machine until they become liquid. This molten plastic is then injected under high pressure into a closed mould.

Inside the mould, the plastic takes on the desired component geometry and cools in a controlled manner until it solidifies. The mould then opens and the finished component is ejected. This process is fully automated and can take just a few seconds, depending on the component size and material.

The main advantage of plastic injection moulding lies in its high precision, excellent repeatability and the ability to produce even complex geometries cost-effectively. This makes the process particularly well-suited to the serial production of plastic parts.
